Do not re-use a test or use a test after the expiry date printed on the sachet. Avoid eating, drinking or smoking immediately before or during the test. Do not collect the nasal swab sample if you have a nosebleed.
Do not use the test if the pouch is damaged or not at room temperature. Wear gloves or alternately wash hands before and thoroughly after use. If performing a lateral flow type test and the extraction buffer accidentally comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse it off with large amounts of water and consult a doctor if necessary.
Do not freeze test kit. It is important to appropriately dispose of tests, samples and any contaminated materials once results are recorded.
